Long, long, long time in between blog posts but here's one for old time's sake, straight from Kelowna, BC. Here I divulge the fact that I secretly collect concert posters (actually most people who read this probably know that). And while I've stopped hoarding for the last little while, I had amassed quite a collection prior to... so this latest stop-over in the little town that couldn't (aka Kelowna), I decided to sell a bunch of my less cherished numbers in order to frame and preserve the cream of the crop. This resulted in 4 new framed prints to go alongside my meagre 2 others. To celebrate the occaision I am posting photos of the whole set of 6, starting with my earliest attempt (circa 2002), my sophomore effort (circa 2005) and then the fab four (circa today 08/08/08). One day I hope to be able to hang these in whatever dwelling I stay in (in a more permanent and insured fashion than my current one).
And now, without further ado:

Pearl Jam @ Vancouver, 1998 (Deep black frame -- no matte)

Pearl Jam @ Merriweatherpost, 1998 (Black frame -- fabric red + regular black mattes)

Pearl Jam @ Istanbul, 1996 (Black beveled frame -- white + red mattes)

Built to Spill @ Englewood, CO, 2003 (Black beveled frame -- gray + black mattes)

Pearl Jam @ Charlotte, 1996 (Black beveled frame -- white + black mattes)

Pearl Jam @ Maui, 1998 (Black beveled frame -- white + blue + black mattes)
**Edit Aug 9: A note regarding the title. I was trying to recall the 12 days of christmas and what Day 6 was... I thought it was turtle doves but that is Day 2. Day 6 is "Six geese a-laying..." which is kinda lame. So I'll stick with the original, although nonsensical, Six Turtle Doves..."
